So you have decided to not forgive your enemy?

Betrayed, arrested, questioned, falsely accused, deserted by every friend he had, tried (by mock trial) six times, traded for a criminal, lied about, mocked, whipped with a flagrum that tore chunks of skin from his back, beaten, stripped naked, shamed, screamed at, spat on, tormented,  carried his 100 lb murder weapon on his back for 650 yards, nailed through the wrists and feet, thorns pierced his head, his Father turned his back on him, he gave up his life.

Yet He forgave all.

“For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. (Matthew 6:14 NKJV)

“And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. (Mark 11:25 NKJV)

And forgive us our sins, For we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one.” (Luke 11:4 NKJV)

Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven. (Matthew 18:21, 22 NKJV)

“Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. (Luke 6:37 NKJV)
